Radio Mirchi AD


This in one of the branding strategies that I heard on Radio Mirchi 93.9FM in Pune…..I really liked the way they made a catchy tagline…the ad goes like this:::::

The VP declares the yearly report of his company

VP-“This year we are into heavy losses”
Audience: Applauds
VP-“despite the whole industry showing a growth rate of 25% we have consistently maintained a Negative growth rate of 32%”
Audience- Applauds again
VP-“No dividends for our share holders”
Audience: applauds and whistles
VP-“we are also planning to sell our Fixed assets”
Audience- Applauds again
VP-“we are also laying off people- the complete staff of our company”
Audience- Applauds again
VP-“In other terms our company is BANKRUPT”
Audience- Applauds again and whistles and shouts in enjoyment

TAGLINE-“Mirchi Sunne walein always KUSH”

What a nice way to create a niche for Radio Mirchi and keep the viewers hooked on Mirchi……
