13TH- The FRIDAY,2005

Introduction :
The fear of Friday the 13th is called paraskavedekatriaphobia or paraskevidekatriaphobia. Today, it even has its own dedicated phobia, called triskaidekaphobia, meaning fear of the number 13. Fear of this day traces its origins to ancient, separate incidents of bad luck with both the number 13 and Friday. There is a Norse myth about 12 Gods having a dinner party in Valhalla. Loki, a naughty God, gate-crashed and angered Hoder, the blind God of darkness to shoot Balder, the God of joy and gladness, who died. There is also the biblical reference. The Last Supper was held on a Friday and Judas was the 13th guest. Also Jaques de Molay, Grand Master of the Knights Templar, and 60 of his knights were arrested on Friday the 13. Several Templars were tortured and then executed.

Every year we celebrate Friday The 13th because we are worried about it maximum people believe that Friday The 13th to be unlucky due to our superstitions. Many of us make jokes about Friday The 13th and only kidding instruct loved ones to exercise greater care on that day, but those who suffer from a fear of the number thirteen or a fear of Friday The 13th may genuinely feel limited by the believed potential for ill luck connected with the date. So keep yourself out of catastrophe by not walking under open ladders, keep black cats from crossing your path or don't break a mirror. And celebrate this day with your friends and family members.
