Rape: - The dictionary and the legal meaning of rape is “The crime of forcing a woman to submit to sexual intercourse against her will”…..It’s been the topic of discussion in the INDIAN assembly as well as daily basis whether the rapists should be given a death sentence or not?

But I would like to ask the general public that is rape or raping a gal is so heinous crime that the rapist should not be spared his life!!!!

Well according to me RAPE is a big crime but also not so big that the rapist should be given a death sentence….well he can be given a rigorous life imprisonment as this is a justifiable punishment….

Well let us find out why shouldn’t death sentence be given to a rapist? There are many social as well as legal and ethical implications behind this according to me…..

First if a RAPIST rapes he is not killing a person practically…..literally the people of the society may claim that rapes literally kills a person, however it depends upon the perspective of a gal and her society how they see it…..why should a gal who is being raped, literally kill her??....is there any fault in the gal? NO not at all….. its the mindset of the people in India that makes the raped gal feel dejected and humiliated to such an extent that she commits suicide…..The people in the Indian society thinks and believes that a girl needs to be virgin(sacred) before marriage…. And this in turn helps to aggravate the sufferings of a raped girl….There had been incidences in the society that even a raped gal is leading a normal and healthy life….So raping a gal doesn’t take her life so why take the life of RAPIST….according to the laws of India only death sentence can be given in extreme cases like murder…..and that too in a very selective way…coz AN EYE FOR AN EYE WILL MAKE THE WHOLE WORLD BLIND……

If after all this legal law is passed where in a rapist is given a death sentence then this law may be misused by girls or women to sort out personal enmity against men….it may be very much possible that a particular person may be seduced by a gal and later the gal claims to be raped by so and so person….so is this justice?....coz there is no medically proven method which can 100% assure whether the sexual intercourse was by mutual consent or a RAPE….in this case such law can be misused….if a person is given death sentence wrongly then there is not a bigger SHAME for the judicial body of India…..so why take a chance…..

It is also argued that giving a death sentence to a rapist will stop rapes but I would like to ask you whether giving a death sentence in case of MURDER has stopped MURDER?....

The law of life imprisonment may be implemented if proven and the death sentence should be kept for much more heinous crimes like murder……
